The date is confirmed on his death record per the Massachusetts Vital Records to 1850 (Online Database: AmericanAncestors.org, NEHGS, 2001-2010) (including town records) [hereinafter MA VR NEHGS], Newton Deaths, p448: “FULLER, John Sr., Feb. 7, 1698. [1697-8. A. 87, G.R.1.]”. GR1 is the East Burying Ground in Newton, Massachusetts. It has been reported that the actual wording on the gravestone states “Aged about 87 Years”. See link in Note 2 p2.

  4. The first documented evidence of our Fuller family in New England is the birth of their fourth son, Joseph, 10 Feb, 1652/3 and our review concluded that the first three children were likely born in England. About John…  Therefore they were likely married in England before 1645.
