The tables below follow the Land distribution from Jeremiah Fuller to each of his sons: Thomas, Joshua Sr and Josiah Sr. And then from these three sons to their sons, ending with Josiah Fuller IV, who died in 1848.

Total – Joshua was given 126.3 Acres from his father | Note: This was a substantial Estate with a lot of Land, however the court ordered that most of it be sold (except the dower rights) in order to pay off the debts of 2,316 pounds. But we do not know what the family may have done to try to hold on to the Homestead and as much Land as possible. |

I give and bequeath to my son Joseph Fuller aforesaid and to his heirs and assigns, forever all by buildings and lands, lying in Newton aforesaid and in Cambridge adjacent but not for him to come into the possession of that part of the Real Estate; that I have given the improvement of to my wife aforesaid, so long as she shall remain my Widow…… At the time of Joseph’s death his farm had 70 acres – dower rights of 23 = 47 acers (The court sold this land and distributed cash to each member of the family after the dower rights and debts had been taken off) |

Note: At the time Josiah Fuller (1739-1825) wrote his Will in 1824, he was aware that his only living son Josiah Fuller III (1785-1738), had been deemed not capable of taking care of himself. In 1821, the Probate Court assigned him a guardian to care for and manage his affairs. Josiah Jr. very carefully crafted this Will to give his daughters, grandchildren and one great grandchild cash and land, and thoughtfully gave his remaining son specific items that would support his welfare and certain items that he wanted to remain in the family. Josiah Fuller III had the following children: William G., b. 1810; Mary b. 1813, and Josiah IV b. 1815.
